Group Voice Classes - 50 minutes

Formal vocal training can begin in a fun, exploratory, child-led manner as early as 5 years old.

 Discover your Voice!  For ages 5-7, these classes are designed to engage your child in exploratory vocal development through movement, play, and song.  Children will be learning important foundational concepts (like posture, breathing and pitch) while having fun in a safe and supportive environment.  Additionally, they will be introduced to ear training and beginning musical notation.  

Learn your Voice!  For ages 8-10, these classes are designed very similarly to the Discovery class, where the focus is on learning through play; however, we will dive deeper into concepts like ear training, musical notation, and repertoire building.

Grow your Voice!  11 and 12 year olds continue to build on the foundation of healthy singing skills and musicianship in the previous age groups.  These students can take on more responsibility for their learning and practicing, and should be able to sight-sing a short melody.  Students will be introduced to different musical genres and will begin to learn to sing simple harmonies together.
